Circulation Coins: are the legal tender coins, which are required to be continually produced to assure an adequate supply to be circulating for daily life within the economic system. The designs of the coins are modified accordingly to the reign in which they are issued.
The current circulation coin series is comprised of 9 denominations; 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 Satang, 1, 2, 5 and 10 Baht. Nevertheless, only the 25 Satang up to the 10 Baht denomination are used in the circulation. The 1, 5 and 10 Satang, on the other hand, are minted to serve the accounting system.
